Fest 2008
To some, it's called the
CMA Music Festival. To those long-time attendees who still yearn for the fairgrounds,
it will always be Fan Fair.
For us, it's
the Annual BW Fest. And this year is no exception.
You can expect
MANY pictures, as we here at BryanWhiteFans.com finish touching
up our schedules to accommodate EIGHT STRAIGHT DAYS of BW
events. Camera batteries are fully charged, memory cards
are formatted and ready to go, laptops are packed, and our
hotel rooms with free Wi-Fi are booked.
The fun starts
tomorrow, June 1st and includes some very interesting events
apart from the standards of concerts and bowling. This year
will see Bryan taking on archery a second time in a challenge
consisting of a variety of outdoorsman and sporting events.
He'll also be participating in the first annual Porter Waggoner
Fishing Tournament and will make another appearance with
wife Erika Page at the Country Weekly Fashion Show.
We look forward
to meeting a lot of you at the events throughout the week...and
for those unable to attend this year's festivities, we hope
you'll
enjoy the
pictures
as they're posted on the site! (posted

SO
MANY WONDERFUL HAPPENINGS!
I know
there was a recent several-month lapse in updates,
and frequent visitors are aware that this is NOT the norm.
So, I'd like to apologize for the absence and assure you that
it has nothing to do with a lack of interest or a lull in exciting
news. Both are in abundance; there's simply been a lack of
time to add the necessary updates.
February saw
the adventure of a lifetime when I joined Bryan and a cast
of other country stars for Kevin
Richards' Country Cruise. Nothing beats escaping
wintry weather by cruising the Caribbean with a group of
extremely talented artists like Bryan, Richie McDonald, Kevin
Sharp, Wayne Warner, Jimmy Fortune, David Church, and Vince
Moreno! And since I took literally hundreds of pictures of
the week's fun, I promise PICTURES WILL BE POSTED within
the next few weeks. Until then, you can see many of them
on Bryan's
official web site (if you're a fan club member)
and a few more on the above mentioned site for Kevin Richards.
Other notable
events include the official announcement of Bryan's participation
in the 2008 CMA Music Festival, with a performance at the
River Stages scheduled for Sunday, June 8th. Check back later
for more details regarding his scheduled time, as well as
information on his annual Fan Club Party. Both should be
announced fairly soon!
A recent appearance
at the annual Country Radio Seminar confirmed that Bryan's
new album entitled DUSTBOWL DREAMS is
still scheduled for release this year, with a radio single
on the way. If you haven't heard the title track, zip over
to his Myspace and
check it out. This album is destined for success, and we
can't wait to travel all the exciting roads it takes Bryan
in the future.
Also, several
people have contacted me recently in regards to Lee Kadner,
the promoter of the Fletcher, NC show who still owes refunds
to all ticket holders. Unfortunately, as much as I'd like
to say otherwise (being a ticket holder myself), I do not
have a way of contacting him. All of his phone numbers have
been
disconnected,
and
his
web
site/e-mail
are
no
longer active. I understand the frustrations many of you
share, but I wish to remind everyone again that the issue
at hand is solely the fault of Mr. Kadner and should, in
no
way, reflect
on Bryan. Please keep in mind that Bryan was also expecting
a show and was negatively affected by the situation. This
is an unfortunate series of events that was out of the hands
of Bryan and his management, so I ask that no one fault him
for this incident.
And finally,
if you would like to show Bryan how much you support him,
and if you're looking for a way to make the rest of the country
music community realize that a "Bryan White Comeback" is
imminent, we are currently taking donations to place a full-page
ad
in the Fan Fair edition of EnterTeenment
News, a popular entertainment magazine. This
is something we did last year, and not only was Bryan completely
humbled and at a loss for words that his fans would go through
such lengths to help promote him, it was an amazing way to
instantly market him to literally thousands of country music
fans. If you are interested in making a donation, whether
it's $5.00 or $50.00, anything is welcome! It's true
that there really isn't a donation that is too small. Please
see
the previous update to find
out how you can go about helping.
I guess that
wraps up the biggest updates for now, folks. But again, keep
checking back as I continue to try to make up for lost time.
I have many things to add to the site and am determined to
make the time to get it done. ;-)
I hope to see
some of you out on the road this year!

NOW'S
YOUR CHANCE TO HELP!
Some of
you may remember last year's urgent rush to get Bryan a full-page
ad in the Country Music/Fan Fair issue of the popular EnterTeenment
News. Through the generosity and determination
of a handful of fans, we were able to pull this off and provided
Bryan and his reemerging career instant exposure to literally
thousands of country music fans. The gesture was most humbling
to Bryan himself, as he repeatedly thanked us and made sure
to keep a few copies for himself. He was, without a doubt,
inspired by his fans' willingness to do such a wonderful thing
for him.
This year, we
hope to repeat the gesture. For the next several weeks, donations
can be made via PayPal or by mail to EnterTeenment News,
to make sure Bryan once again graces the pages of this anticipated
publication.
So why donate
to this cause?
Obviously, it
helps to get Bryan and his music out there for others to
notice. And with a radio single and full album on the way,
this is the perfect opportunity. But if you may be wondering
what else is in it for you...all participants will have their
names listed on the ad and will receive a copy of the entire
EnterTeenment News publication in the mail. So while you
can have tangible proof of your efforts to assist in Bryan's
full comeback, he will also be able to read through the names
and see all the generous people who contributed.
As in all cases, no
donation is too small. Whether you're able to
offer $5, $20, or $100, it is true that every little bit
helps. So with that in mind, we ask that you help us--and
help Bryan--by participating.
An account has
already been set up for Bryan's ad by EnterTeenment News.
To make a donation, you may use either of the following
options:
(1) Visit PayPal and
make a donation to the e-mail address EnterTeenmentFan@aol.com
(2) Sending a
check or money order to:
EnterTeenment
News
P.O. Box 625
Dunbar, WV 25064
In either case,
please make sure you specify during payment that the money
is to be applied to "BRYAN WHITE AD #101",
so the wonderful folks at EnterTeenment are able to make
sure it goes to the correct artist's account.
If you have any
questions, please e-mail me at lisa@bwadvocates.com.

Bryan
at "Sound and Speed"
The wonderful
Katie has discovered that Bryan will be signing autographs
at Sound and Speed 2008 in Nashville. The event, which takes
place on January 11-12, combines the sport of racing with today's
hottest country acts. Where else can you see Dale Earnhardt
Jr and Bryan White at the same festival?
